Last weekend in Wierchomla , 27th August the last 2006 Polish DH Cup took place. The race took place on the well know track, nicely designed by Michal Chodkowski and his crew. Our Team riders had a good race. Maciek Bochenek in Elite category finished on the podium taking 3rd place. Michal Sliwa was 5th. Michal had bad luck crashing just before the finish. In the Junior category our new team rider, Polish 2006 DH Champion  Grzegorz Wincenciak finished 3rd. 

Sunday August 13th our team showed up at the Slovakia DH Cup in Chvatimech. Michal Sliwa only had three runs before the race on the very technical track in Chvatimech which was even harder because of the rain. Vlastimil Hynčica (Remerx – Manitou) won the race. Just after him was our team rider Michal Sliwa (Zumbi Rowmix). Third place belonged to Kotrla Patrik (Specialized 69). More on  http://www.downhill.sk/node/1004.

The Polish Downhill championships this year took place in Wierchomla on a totally new track. Michal Sliwa finished second and became Polish 2006 Vice Champion in downhill 2006. Maciej Bochenek who is first year in Elite category came in nicely with 6th place. Our prize, Zumbi VooDoo street frame went to 2006 Polish Champion in Junior Category, Grzegorz Wincenciak who will be representing our downhill team next year.

This years Polish DH champion in Juniors category will win a Zumbi Voodoo Street frame.The race will take plce in Wierchomla 30 July 2006.

Over 200 racers started in the second edition Downhill Contest on Skrzyczne Mountain DH race track in Szczyrk. Our team racer Michal Sliwa won the Elite category. More photos and vids on www.freestyle.pl 

In very muddy conditions our ZUMBI team rider Michal Sliwa was 4th during an international DH race in Wisla, Poland. 

ZUMBI cycles i working on a New frame for rough urban riding. The frame will feature horizontal dropouts making it easy to covert to a singlespeed. There will be two versions with geometries for a 100 130 mm suspension fork or a rigid fork.

Our next pro rider will be Maciej Bochenek, who debutes in the Elite category after a wonderful last year season. He will be racing downhill on a ZUMBI DH Team frameset made exactly to match his demands. Last year he was racing our ZUMBI VooDoo 4X racing frame. His biggest accomplishment is champion of Slovakia in Juniors category in 2005.

First start on ZUMBI DH Team May 7th during the first Polish DH Cup race this year, we had an opportunity to show our final version of the DH Team frameset in action. Our team rider Michal Sliwa finished off nicely taking 3rd place. Good work Michal.
