2009 Maxxis Cup started in Gouveia Portugal 15th March. The Maxxis Cup race series is the always the atsrting point of serious World class racing every seoson. The 4 Mountains Team was represented by Scott Mears starting in Elite Category.

Team 4 Mountains had a great start in the 2nd Round of the Scottish Winter Series in Innerleithen 01.03.2009. The team was represented by Helen Gaskel, Scott Mears and Nathan Million. The track was a mix of steep technical and fast sections combined with typical Scottish mud. Helen finished 2nd place giving the win to Tracy Moseley in Women Pro. Scott Mears was 2nd in Expert giving the first place to Jack Reading. Nathan Million finished nicely 10th.  Full story >

Riders. They performed excellently in the first RatZ winter DH series
in Lincolnshire on 02.11 2008. James Baker 1st (Youth) Duncan McCann
4th (Master). The race consisted of two timed descents (the fastest
time counting). Under tricky wet conditions James and Duncan finished
the first timed decent in 1st and 3rd place. After the final decent
James came out victorious with Duncan dropping one place to fourth.
Well done lads and roll on 2009!
